It has been 25 years since the release of the Krypton-treated fabric, touted as Super Fabric. To commemorate its 25th anniversary, the American brand Designtex has collaborated with five contemporary artists to release five patterns, five colors, and 25 unique fabrics. There is a dedicated page on the brand's website. Krypton treatment has four main functions: strong water repellency, stain resistance, antibacterial properties, and mold resistance.
